TAIZÉ

Bangladesh | Supporting students

Through the Taizé brothers living in Bangladesh, Operation Hope is giving financial support to students, especially those from ethnic minorities – Garos, Bawn, Mandai, and Santal. Among the Garos, some fifteen College students form a Youth Association called Mikrakbo (“Wake up!”), which is active in the Church and in youth development among young Christians of the area. These students also benefit from a stipend, which makes it possible for them to give time to this kind of ministry. In addition to this, fifteen High School students are living and praying with the brothers in their village.
