Having died to what was binding us, we are released from the Law to serve in the new life of the Spirit.

Jesus said: A sower went out to sow. Some seeds fell on good soil and produced a crop — a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Let anyone with ears listen!

The apostle Paul writes: I want you to know that the Gospel I preached is no human message, nor did I receive or learn it from any human being, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

During the last meal with his disciples, Jesus said to them, “If I, who am Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.”

Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of salvation, and you will say, “Praise God and call on his name. Proclaim God’s deeds to the nations!”

Jesus unrolled the scroll of the prophet Isaiah and found the place where it is written: The Spirit of the Lord is on me. God has sent me to announce good news to the afflicted, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.
