Through the Church, God’s manifold wisdom is at work according to the plan God had from all eternity in Christ Jesus.

God says: I am the Lord who acts with faithful love, rightness and justice on earth. Yes, these are the things that please me.

The father of the prodigal son said to his elder son, “It is only right that we should celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!”

Jesus said: There is no greater love than to give one’s life for those one loves.

Jesus said: Truly, I tell you, the one who becomes humble like a child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said: If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let them renounce themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

The Lord says: My people are so dear to me that, whenever I speak of them, I remember them lovingly. Therefore my heart yearns for them and has compassion on them.

Jesus said: The Son of man has come to seek out and save what was lost.
