The Gospel speaks of a young man who was seeking the will of God’s love. He came to Christ with his questions. Jesus replied to him, “You are lacking one thing: sell what you have, give it to the poor, then come, follow me.” And the young man went away sad. (5) Why? He did not have the inner freedom to give himself.
